This Doernbecher x Air Jordan 2 was released in 2007 as part of the very first Doernbecher Freestyle Collection from the Portland, Oregon children’s hospital and Nike. The Doernbecher Air Jordan 2 was designed by patient Sheridan Brenton and features intricate detailing across the silhouette. With a black suede and textured leather base, the eye-catching design features yellow trim and a stylized paisley print in green around the heel and toe. The unique design is completed with an “S” graphic on the tongue and a callout to a bible verse, “Proverbs 8:28.” The Air Jordan 2 DB released in very limited quantities, and is now one of the most sought-after colorways of the second Air Jordan ever.
